Maria de Betania Lacerda Ferreira practices in civil litigation with emphasis in family law. She concentrates her practice in succession matters and related planning. In 2004 she joined a large law firm in São Paulo where she created and chaired the family law practice. She also acts as mediator for the Setor Experimental de Conciliação (1ª instância) do Tribunal de Justiça de São Paulo (Experimental Conciliation Session of the State of São Paulo Appellate Court) since its inception in 2004.
